Remembering Those Who Gave Their Lives: Memorial Day Commemoration at USS Hornet Museum

On Monday, May 27th, the USS Hornet Museum in Alameda, California will be hosting a special ceremony to honor and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The annual Memorial Day Commemoration is an important event that pays tribute to our fallen heroes and their families.

The ceremony will begin at 11 AM at the USS Hornet Museum, located at 707 West Hornet Ave, Alameda, Ca. We are honored to have Guest Speaker Michael S. Baker, M.D., F.A.C.S., Rear Admiral (lh), Medical Corps, US Navy (ret), join us for this solemn occasion. There will also be a wreath laying and flyover by the Memorial Squadron from the USS Sea, Air & Space Museum.

We invite everyone to join us in paying our respects and showing gratitude for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service of our country. Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along too! For more information about the event and other activities happening at the museum, check out their website here: https://www.uss-hornet.org/
