Maysa brings a warm Friday night set to Yoshi’s Oakland

Yoshi’s is one of those Oakland rooms where the music feels close. The lights are low, the tables sit near the stage, and the Jack London Square location makes it easy to turn a show into dinner and a walk by the water.

On Friday, October 23, Maysa takes the stage at 8:00 pm. Many fans first found her through Incognito, where her voice became part of that smooth soul and jazz sound that still travels well. On her own, she has a calm command of a room, with vocals that can be soft one minute and full bodied the next.
