Make a little holiday tree in Alameda
Friday, November 13 brings a cozy clay night to South Shore Center in Alameda. The session runs from 6:30 to 9 pm, giving teens and adults time to sit down, slow down, and make a Christmas tree piece by hand.
South Shore Center is an easy spot for this kind of evening. There is room to wander before class, grab a bite nearby, and meet up without the stress of downtown parking. It has that relaxed Alameda feel, especially as the evening settles in near the water.
The Color Me Mine team will be guiding the workshop, so you do not need to show up with art skills or a plan. They will help with the clay, the shape, and the details. The fun is in seeing how each tree turns out a little different.
This is a good pick if you want a low key night out, a creative date, or something seasonal to do with an older kid. You leave with something personal, and maybe a little clay under your fingernails.
