## Volunteer Day & Open House at REAP Climate Center in Alameda If your ideal Sunday involves getting your hands a little dirty, meeting neighbors, and leaving with more practical know-how than you arrived with, **Volunteer Day & Open House** at **REAP Climate Center** is worth putting on the calendar. REAP Climate Center sits at **2133 Tynan Ave in Alameda**, a tucked-away, hands-on campus built around climate resilience, regenerative practices, and community learning. It’s not the kind of place where you just stand around and admire the garden beds from a distance. The whole vibe is participatory: people planting, hauling, watering, building, tending, asking questions, sharing skills, and figuring things out

Come by, lend a hand, learn something new, and join our community of passionate doers. Campus opens at 10am on Sundays, and we offer two volunteer sessions in the morning and the afternoon. See below for the full schedule.

What to Expect:
Everyone, young or old, experienced or still learning, is welcome to join our Sunday and Wednesday volunteer days (and stay for Wednesday night potluck!). We do our best to update this volunteer page one week before the event to describe what tasks we have planned. Some possibilities include: watering, planting, compost building, animal maintenance, light construction or fabrication, and heavy construction.

Before arriving, please read through our volunteer page and FAQ http://reapcenter.org/volunteering , and sign our online waiver http://reapcenter.org/waiver . All volunteering participants of all ages are required to sign the waiver before coming to campus.
