Teen tabletop time at Oakland Public Library
Monday afternoon at the Main TeenZone, DungeonMaster Vic is setting up the table for a free Dungeons & Dragons session for teens.
The TeenZone has the right feel for this kind of thing. It is casual, welcoming, and built for hanging out after school or during summer break. You can show up curious, join a party, and see where the story goes.
No past play is needed. All materials are provided, and snacks are included too. The club is open to teens ages 12 to 18, with the session running from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Monday, July 13.
DungeonMaster Vic leads the action, so players can focus on choices, characters, dice rolls, and the fun mess that happens when a plan meets a monster.
Space is limited and can fill up fast, so call the Main TeenZone before heading over to check availability.
