Speed Puzzling Workshop hosted by Assemble Puzzlery
November 1, 2026 1:00 pm
Speed puzzling lands in Oakland on Sunday, November 1, from 1 to 3 pm at Local Economy.
If you have ever watched someone finish a jigsaw puzzle at a wild pace and wondered how they see the pieces so fast, this workshop is built for you.
Assemble Puzzlery is bringing in four local competitive speed puzzlers for a two hour session with a panel talk and hands on practice. They will share how they sort, scan, build sections, work with color, and keep calm when the clock is running.
Local Economy should be a good fit for this one. It has that Oakland neighborhood feel where people can sit close, talk easily, and learn without the room feeling too formal. Expect a relaxed crowd of puzzle people, curious first timers, and maybe a few folks who already know their edge piece strategy by heart.
You do not need to be a competitor to enjoy it. If you like puzzles, want to get faster, or just want a quiet but social Sunday activity, this is a solid pick.
Good to know: Registration will be through Assemble Puzzlery, not Luma. More details are expected soon, so keep an eye on the event listing before you go.
