Slow Down and Find Your Natural Rhythm – Breema Workshop
December 12, 2026 9:30 am
Breema workshop in Oakland on Saturday, December 12
If your week has been moving faster than your body can keep up with, this full day Breema workshop at The Breema Center might be a good reset.
The center sits on Claremont Avenue in Oakland, a quiet pocket that fits the mood of the day. Expect a calm room, simple instruction, and a pace that gives you time to notice what is happening in your body instead of rushing past it.
The workshop runs from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm at 6076 Claremont Ave. Participants will work with Breema bodywork sequences and self care exercises meant to support balance, presence, and a clearer connection between body, mind, and feelings.
You can stay for the whole day or attend one part of the workshop. That makes it easier if you are curious but not sure about spending the full day there.
This is a good fit for people who want something quieter than the usual weekend plan, or anyone dealing with stress, tension, or that scattered feeling that shows up when life gets too packed.
Signing up ahead of time is recommended. Continuing education may be available, so it is worth asking the center if that matters for your work.
The fast pace of life today can lead to a feeling of being off-balance. This can drain our energy, leading to physical, mental and emotional distress or illness. Real balance can withstand the ups and downs of life. In the nurturing atmosphere of a Breema workshop, you are supported to slow down and discover your natural rhythm, and body, mind, and feelings become balanced and in harmony. When we are functioning in harmony, we can move through our day with an active posture towards life, supporting others and ourselves. Being in balance cuts through negativity and trauma, and brings a new positivity and enthusiasm. In each class you will learn bodywork sequences and self-care exercises that offer a direct experience of body-mind connection, and support you to bring more balance, simplicity and vitality into your life. You can participate in the entire day, or attend just one of the workshops. Pre-registration is recommended. Call or email the Breema Center for more information. Continuing Education may be available for this event.
