THE CURTIS FAMILY C-NOTES

Curtis Family C Notes bring family funk to Yoshi’s Oakland

Yoshi’s has a way of making a Friday night feel close and easy. You get that warm room, the low stage, the dinner tables, and the kind of crowd that actually listens. On October 2, 2026, the Curtis Family C Notes come through with a set built on funk, soul, R&B, jazz, and gospel harmony.

This is a family band with real range. The sound is tight, vocal, and full of groove, with harmonies that come from people who clearly know each other well. Expect bass lines that move, keys that fill the room, and voices stacked in that old school way that still feels fresh in a live club.

If you like Oakland nights that start with good food and end with a song stuck in your head, this one fits. Yoshi’s sits right by the water at 510 Embarcadero West, so it is easy to make an evening of it around Jack London Square.

Showtime is 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. For tickets, call 510 238 9200 or check with Yoshi’s.
