MILES ELECTRIC BAND
October 3, 2026 8:00 pm
Miles Davis alumni take over Yoshi’s Oakland
Saturday, October 3, Yoshi’s brings a deep jazz lineage to the waterfront with a band built around players connected to Miles Davis and his electric era.
That matters. This is music tied to the restless, plugged in side of Miles, where jazz, funk, groove, and open space all sit at the same table. Expect sharp players, loose edges, and moments that can stretch in unexpected ways.
Yoshi’s is a good room for this kind of night. The sound is close, the seats keep you near the stage, and the Jack London Square setting makes it easy to turn the show into a full evening. Dinner before, a drink at the table, then two hours of music without much fuss.
The show runs from 8 pm to 10 pm at Yoshi’s, 510 Embarcadero West in Oakland.
If you like jazz with a little electricity in it, this is worth putting on the calendar. Event details are here.
