Fireside Potluck!

There is a warm little community night happening in Alameda this Wednesday.

REAP Climate Center opens up its campus at 2133 Tynan Ave from 5 to 8:30 pm for a weekly fireside meal, with cooking, shared food, and easy conversation around climate, land care, and local community.

The setting is a big part of the draw. REAP has that quiet Alameda feel, with room to wander, gather, and settle in by the fire. You can come early to help cook around 5, or show up closer to dinner if that fits your day better.

The program changes from week to week. Some nights bring live music, other nights lean toward a movie, workshop, or group discussion. The performers and hosts tend to keep things close and casual, which fits the space well.

Bring a dish or drink if you can. Some food is provided, and all ages are welcome with kids accompanied by an adult. REAP also asks visitors to fill out a waiver before coming by.

Wednesday Schedule

Come anytime after 5:00pm! We generally cook until 6ish, and we welcome helping hands, or just friendly company! We’ll then enjoy a communal meal and fireside gathering, usually wrapping up around 8:30.
