Fireside Potluck!
September 23, 2026 11:30 pm
A cozy Wednesday evening in Alameda
REAP Climate Center is opening up its Alameda campus on Wednesday, September 23, from 4:30 to about 8 pm for a shared meal by the fire.
The setup sounds simple in the best way. Bring a dish if you can, come hungry either way, and spend the evening cooking, eating, and talking with people who care about climate, community, and local projects.
The venue at 2133 Tynan Ave has the feel of a hands on community space, with room to wander a bit and get a sense of what REAP is building there. It is a good fit for people who like low pressure gatherings where the conversation can move from food to gardens to local ideas without anyone needing to make a big speech.
No formal performers are listed for this evening. The people around the table are the main part of the night. REAP is also asking for community sourced ideas, so future nights may include music, workshops, films, or discussion topics led by local folks.
Some food will be provided, but potluck dishes are welcome. The event is free, and RSVP is encouraged.
