Fireside Potluck

Fireside Potluck brings a low key Wednesday evening gathering to REAP Climate Center in Alameda on September 16, from 4:30 to about 8 pm.
The setting is part of the draw. REAP’s campus on Tynan Avenue has room to wander, talk, and settle in for a meal with people who care about climate, community, food, and local projects. It sounds like the kind of evening where you can show up after work, bring something simple if you can, and end up in a good conversation before you realize the sun has dropped.
No performer lineup is listed, which fits the feel. The main action is communal cooking, shared plates, and neighbors meeting neighbors. Some food will be provided, and potluck dishes are welcome.
