Toddler Storytime comes to Rockridge Thursday morning
If your small kid likes books, songs, and a little room to wiggle, the Rockridge Branch Library has a sweet half hour lined up on Thursday, August 27, from 10:30 to 11:00 am.
The session is geared toward ages 1 to 3, though children of all ages are welcome. Expect a library story reader leading simple books, songs, and the kind of gentle group rhythm that works well for toddlers.
The setting may shift with the weather. Some weeks it happens outside in the Staff Parking Lot behind the library, which gives families a bit of fresh air and space. Other weeks it moves upstairs to the Meeting Room, where it feels cozy and calm in that familiar Rockridge library way.
Afterward, families are invited to head inside and browse the shelves. That makes this a nice little morning stop on College Avenue, especially if you want to leave with a few picture books for the week.

Children of all ages are welcome; content geared toward ages 1 to 3 years. Sometimes we meet outdoors in the Staff Parking Lot behind the library. Other times we meet indoors in the upstairs Meeting Room – it depends on the weather, the temperature, and on our story-reader’s preference for the day. After storytime, we invite you to come inside the library to check out library materials.
