Computer help at Rockridge Branch on Saturday morning
If your inbox is a mess, your resume needs a clean up, or a job search site is giving you trouble, the Rockridge Branch has a practical morning lined up on Saturday, August 22.
From 10 am to noon, volunteer computer tutors will be in the library computer lab to help with basic tasks. That can mean setting up email, working on a resume, looking through job listings, or getting more comfortable moving around the internet.
The Rockridge Branch on College Ave has that classic neighborhood library feel. Quiet tables, regulars coming through, and enough calm to actually focus on the thing you came in to fix. It is a good setting if you want help without feeling rushed.
The volunteers are the main draw here. They are there to sit with you, answer questions, and help you get past the little tech blocks that can eat up a whole morning at home.
Volunteer schedules can change, so it is smart to call the branch before you go and make sure a tutor is available.
