Adult Needlework Circle

Adult Needlework Circle at Oakland Public Library: Rockridge Branch
Thursday afternoon on College Ave gets a little softer at the Rockridge Branch. From 1 to 3 pm on August 27, the library hosts a casual needlework circle for adults who want to bring a project, sit with others, and make steady progress without rushing.
The room has that familiar library calm, with tables, quiet chatter, and hot tea nearby. Bring knitting, crochet, sewing, quilting, or whatever fiber project is currently living in your bag.
There are no stage performers here. The makers carry the moment, with needles moving, patterns getting sorted out, and small tips passed across the table. Some people have been doing this for years. Others are still figuring out the first row. Both fit right in.
This is a good stop if you want a low key social break, a reason to finish something, or a friendly place to ask a question without feeling put on the spot.
