Teen Magic the Gathering (MtG) Club @Main TeenZone

Sunday at Oakland Public Library, the Main TeenZone is turning into a Commander table.
From 2:00 to 4:30 pm on August 30, teens can settle in for Magic: The Gathering with other local players. The focus is Commander, which means big decks, strange alliances, bold plays, and plenty of table talk.
This is a good fit for teens who like strategy, story, and a little friendly chaos. New players can learn as they go, and experienced players can bring their game sense to the table. All materials are provided, along with snacks, so nobody needs to show up with a full deck or a rulebook memorized.
The Main TeenZone at Oakland Public Library has that easy library feel: low pressure, public, and made for hanging out without spending money. The real performers here are the players, building worlds card by card and trying to outthink the next move.
Open to ages 12 to 18.
