Teen Dungeons & Dragons Club @ Main TeenZone
August 10, 2026 4:00 pm
Teen Dungeons and Dragons Club at Oakland Public Library
Monday afternoon in downtown Oakland gets a little more magical at the Main Library TeenZone. From 4:00 to 6:00 pm on August 10, teens can pull up a chair, roll some dice, and step into a shared story with DungeonMaster Vic leading the table.
The TeenZone has that easy library feel: relaxed, welcoming, and made for hanging out without needing to spend money. This session is free for ages 12 to 18, and beginners are welcome. No books, dice, or past quests needed. Materials are provided, and yes, snacks are part of the plan.
Vic keeps the adventure moving, but the fun comes from the players too. Expect weird choices, sudden danger, group problem solving, and at least one plan that sounds great until the dice hit the table.
This is a good pick for teens who like fantasy, storytelling, acting out characters, or just trying something social that is not too loud or too formal. It is also a nice way to meet other local teens in a setting that feels low pressure.
Space can fill up fast, so call the Main TeenZone before heading over to check availability.
