Roll for initiative at the Main TeenZone

Monday afternoon at Oakland Public Library, the TeenZone turns into a table full of quests, snacks, dice, and big choices. Dungeon Master Vic leads the session from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at 125 14th St in downtown Oakland.

This is a good fit for teens ages 12 to 18 who already know their character sheet, and also for anyone who has only heard friends talk about Dungeons and Dragons. No experience is needed. Materials are provided, so players can just show up, settle in, and start figuring out what kind of adventurer they want to be.

The library setting gives it a relaxed feel. It is social, but not too loud. Creative, but low pressure. Vic keeps the story moving, while the players bring the weird plans, brave moves, and occasional bad dice rolls that make the game fun.
