ALL ITALIAN DAY

All Italian Day comes to Alameda on Sunday, October 11

Main Street Soccer Field is the right kind of spot for this one. Open grass, easy walking, plenty of room to slow down and look. From 10 am to 3 pm, the field at 2040 Main Street turns into a gathering place for Italian cars, motos, and bicycles, with Alfa Romeo Association bringing the 39th annual celebration to the island.

The performers here are the machines themselves. Expect sculpted fenders, bright paint, small details, engine notes, old badges, and the kind of design choices people still stop to talk about years later.

This is a good Alameda Sunday outing if you like cars, design, bikes, or casual local events where you can wander at your own pace. Owners are usually part of the fun too, since half the joy is hearing how something was found, fixed, kept, or driven.

Bring a camera, comfortable shoes, and maybe a little patience for anyone in your group who says they are just going to look at one more Alfa.
