String and Shadow Puppet Theater at Jean Sweeney Open Space Park

Alameda has a nice one on the calendar for Friday, August 14. Rhythmix is bringing String and Shadow Puppet Theater to Jean Sweeney Open Space Park for a free all ages evening show from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Jean Sweeney is a good fit for this kind of thing. There is room to spread out, paths nearby for a pre show stroll, and that open Alameda sky that makes a summer evening feel easy. Bring a blanket, bring snacks, let the kids roam a little before the performance starts.
