R&B Rewind: Grown Folks Edition

Sunday R&B in West Berkeley

If your ideal Sunday evening sounds like R&B classics, a grown crowd, and a beer in hand, keep an eye on Gilman Brewing Company on November 15. The Berkeley taproom is hosting R&B Rewind: Grown Folks Edition from 5 pm to 9 pm.

This one is aimed at the 35 and up crowd, with DJ Black Friday setting the tone. Expect the kind of songs people actually know, from slow jams to dance floor cuts that bring back memories without turning the night into a marathon.

Gilman Brewing Company has that easy West Berkeley brewery feel. It is casual, roomy, and relaxed enough for a Sunday hang, but still lively when the music gets going. Grab a drink, find your people, and settle in for a few hours of familiar R&B.

General admission is $45. The venue is at 912 Gilman St in Berkeley. Since this runs early, it is a good pick if you want music and a crowd without staying out all night.
