Adobe Illustrator class at Frank Bette Center for the Arts

If you have been meaning to get more comfortable with Illustrator, this Alameda class gives you a steady place to start. Instructor Kenneth McGhee leads a six week evening course at Frank Bette Center for the Arts, beginning Friday, September 25, 2026.

The setting helps. Frank Bette has that neighborhood art center feel, quiet, creative, and close to the work of local artists. It is a nice change from learning alone at home with a tutorial paused on your screen.

Classes run Fridays from 7 pm to 9 pm through October 30 at 1601 Paru St in Alameda. You will need to have Adobe Illustrator already installed, and you should bring your own laptop or iPad.

The cost is $150 for members and $180 for non members. This is a good fit for artists, small business owners, makers, students, or anyone who wants to build cleaner digital graphics with some real guidance in the room.
