Thundercat: Distracted AF Tour

Thundercat comes to the Fox Theater in Oakland on Tuesday, November 17, 2026 at 8:00 PM.

The Fox is a good room for this one. The place has that grand old Oakland feel, with the glowing marquee outside, tall ceilings inside, and a balcony that makes the whole night feel a little bigger without losing the crowd energy.

Thundercat is the kind of player who can make a bass line feel loose, funny, sharp, and spaced out all at once. His shows move through funk, jazz, soul, and left field R and B, with vocals that float above all that fast finger work.

If you know him from his own records, his work with Flying Lotus, or his playing on tracks connected to Kendrick Lamar, you already have a sense of how wide his sound can get. Live, that range has room to stretch.

This should be a fun night for people who like musicians who can really play, but still keep things weird and warm. Grab dinner nearby, walk over to Telegraph, and let the Fox do what it does best.
