The String Cheese Incident: Just Keep Spinning Tour – 12/5

The String Cheese Incident at Fox Theater
Oakland gets a full night of wandering grooves on Saturday, December 5, when The String Cheese Incident brings the Just Keep Spinning Tour to the Fox Theater. Music starts at 7 pm.
If you have seen this band before, you know the set list can move around a lot. Bluegrass, funk, rock, roots music, long jams, and a bit of dance floor looseness all tend to show up. Michael Kang, Bill Nershi, Keith Moseley, Michael Travis, Jason Hann, and Kyle Hollingsworth have been playing together long enough to make those shifts feel natural.
The Fox is a good room for this kind of show. The old theater look, the tall ceiling, the big stage, and that warm Oakland crowd can make a jam band night feel less like a regular concert and more like a shared hang. Telegraph Avenue also makes it easy to turn the evening into a full Uptown Oakland plan, with food and drinks close by before the show.
This one should work well for longtime fans, but it is also a good pick if you just want live music with room to stretch out. The band does not rush the songs, and the crowd usually gives the music space to move.
