Pretty Lights (18+) – 11/20
November 20, 2026 7:30 pm
Pretty Lights at Fox Theater Oakland
Oakland gets a big electronic night on Friday, November 20, 2026, when Pretty Lights comes to the Fox Theater on Telegraph. The show starts at 7:30 pm, and it is an 18 plus event.
The Fox is a strong room for this kind of night. The glowing marquee, tall ceiling, balcony views, and old theater detail all add to the mood before the first beat even hits. Once the lights get moving across that space, the whole place can feel alive.
Pretty Lights, led by producer Derek Vincent Smith, is known for warm bass, chopped soul samples, hip hop swing, and long builds that move between laid back grooves and heavier moments. The live setup often brings musicians and visuals into the mix, so the set can feel loose, full, and very much in the room.
This is one for people who like electronic music with depth, low end, and a crowd that wants to move. It is also a good excuse to spend a Friday night in downtown Oakland, grab food nearby, and settle into one of the East Bay’s best music halls.
