BANG ON brings 90s Britpop and indie favorites to The Fireside Lounge in Alameda on Saturday, Oct. 3.
The Fireside is a good fit for this kind of night. It is small enough to feel close to the band, relaxed enough to wander in with friends, and tucked right on Webster Street where Alameda nights tend to move at their own pace.
The set leans into the songs that still sound good in a crowded room. Think 90s Britpop, indie classics, and the kind of guitar driven tracks that get people nodding along before they realize they know every word.
Special guests DEBASÉD will be there too, bringing a Pixies tribute set into the mix. That should give the night a nice rough edge, especially for anyone who likes their indie rock a little loud and a little weird.
