Alameda Uke Night at The Fireside Lounge

Alameda gets a mellow little music night on Tuesday, September 1, with ukulele players gathering at The Fireside Lounge on Webster Street.

The evening is hosted by Ukulenny, a familiar name for Bay Area uke fans. Things start at 6:30 pm with a lesson, then move into a 7 pm jam, an 8 pm open mic, and one more jam before the night wraps around 8:30 pm.

The Fireside Lounge has that easy Alameda feel. It is a comfortable spot to sit close, hear people play, and maybe end up singing along without making a big deal of it. If you have a uke, bring it. If you are just curious, you can hang back and listen.
