Thursday, July 9, Fireside Lounge brings back guitarist Don Balistreri for an easygoing evening of rock, jazz, and blues.
Fireside has that neighborhood lounge feel that works well for live guitar. Grab a seat, settle in with a drink, and let the room do its thing. The music runs from 7:30 to 10:30 pm, so it is a good pick for a weeknight hang without turning it into a whole production.
Balistreri’s playing moves through familiar roots with a relaxed touch. Expect bluesy lines, jazz color, and rock flavor, all in a setting that keeps things close and casual.
There is no cover charge, which makes this a simple one to say yes to if you are in Alameda or nearby in the East Bay.
