ALAMEDUH ZINE RELEASE PARTY

Alameda zine culture gets a Saturday hang at Faction Brewing

Saturday, Nov. 7, Faction Brewing is hosting the Alameduh Zine Release Party from 3 to 8 pm, and it has the feel of a good neighborhood meet up. Free entry, all ages, live music, food, art, and a market full of Alameda makers.

Faction is a fitting spot for this one. The brewery sits out on Monarch Street with that wide open Alameda Point feel, plenty of room to wander, and views that make it easy to stay longer than planned. It is casual, a little industrial, and very Bay Area in the best way.

The release is built around local voices and local hands. Expect live music during the afternoon, community art, and a pop up market with vendors like Amy Liu, Big Softie, Coven of Stitches, East2West Pottery, Ebb Garden Goods, Fire and Glassworks, Gold Digger Records, Island Bait & Tackle, Jenny and Cabbage Vintage, Saffron Studio, Suga & Spice Cookie Co., Super Doug Art Show, Two Birds, and more.

There is also food, cookies, pottery, records, vintage finds, library friends, art, and probably a few things you did not know you needed until you saw them on a table.

If you like small press projects, Alameda humor, local art, or just want a low key Saturday plan with a beer in hand and something to browse, this is worth a stop.
