Fishing gear and Bay views at Faction Brewing

Alameda gets a very Bay Area kind of meetup on Saturday, September 19, when TACKLEMEET lands at Faction Brewing from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Faction is a good fit for this one. The brewery sits out at Alameda Point, with that open hangar feel, plenty of room to wander, and wide views across the water toward San Francisco. It is casual, a little breezy, and easy to settle into with a beer after you have made a few laps through the tables.

The main characters here are the tackle vendors, local fishing brands, apparel makers, and gear heads bringing new and used equipment. Expect rods, reels, lures, terminal tackle, clothing, and plenty of people who will happily talk fishing spots, setups, tides, and what has been working lately.

There will also be raffles, giveaways, food, and drinks, so it should feel more like a community hang than a shopping stop. Bring the crew, compare notes, and see what the local scene has been building.
