Pinball, beer, and bay views at Faction Brewing

Saturday afternoon in Alameda has a nice little pinball stop on the calendar. Belles and Chimes is bringing a group matchplay tournament to Faction Brewing, with sign up at 1:30 pm and games starting at 2:00 pm.

Faction is a good fit for this kind of hang. The taproom sits out at Alameda Point, with that open, casual brewery feel and big views across the Bay. Grab a beer, find a spot, and keep an eye on the machines while the room settles into tournament mode.

The format is five rounds of group matchplay, so players will get plenty of chances at the tables. The performers here are the pinball players themselves, with quick saves, close calls, and the little crowd moments that happen when a ball refuses to drain.

Entry is $10, and it sounds like this is a one time tournament for now, with room for more if the turnout is good. That makes it a fun one to catch if you like pinball, casual competition, or just want a low key Saturday plan near the water.
