Faction Brewing turns 13 with a full day of music in Alameda
Saturday, September 26, brings a long afternoon and evening hang at Faction Brewing, the Alameda Point taproom known for wide bay views, roomy tables, and that easygoing warehouse feel that works well for a crowd.
The music runs from noon to 9 pm, with sets from UFO Baby, Hollow Minds, Short Dogs Grow, C Breezy Quartet, BRNR, Church of the Dead, Lost Puppy Forever, and Rotten Core. That is a lot of bands for one brewery day, which makes this a good one to drop in early, stay late, or make a slow afternoon of it.
Faction has the kind of setting that feels very East Bay. You get beer, open space, water nearby, and a lineup that leans local and loud without making the day feel too formal. Bring a jacket for later, because Alameda can cool off fast once the sun starts to slide.
