A vampire ball is coming to Alameda

PEERS is bringing Le Bal des Vampires to the Alameda Elks Lodge on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 8 to 10 pm.

The setting fits the mood. The Elks Lodge on Santa Clara Avenue has that old Alameda social hall feel, with enough room for dancing, costumes, and a little theatrical shadow play. It is the kind of place where a dressed up crowd can make the room feel like part of the story.

PEERS has a long running love for period dance, historical themes, and playful costuming. Expect vampire style, ballroom manners, and dancers who are happy to bring newcomers into the rhythm. You do not have to be a regular to enjoy the scene. Just bring comfortable shoes, a sense of humor, and maybe something dark and dramatic from the closet.

Tickets are advance purchase only. The early rate is $45 through September 30. Tickets are $50 from October 1 through November 6.
