The Haunted Mansion Ball comes to Alameda on Saturday, October 3, 2026
Alameda gets a little candlelit ballroom mood this fall when PEERS brings its costumed dance crowd to the Alameda Elks Lodge #1015 at 2255 Santa Clara Ave.
The Elks Lodge has that classic Alameda social hall feel. It is roomy, a little old school, and well suited for a night where people actually use the dance floor. For this one, expect guests in period dress, spooky mansion style touches, and the kind of friendly dance scene where watching can be almost as fun as joining in.
PEERS is known around the Bay for historical and costume based social dances, so the performers here are the dancers themselves. You will see practiced regulars, dramatic outfits, and plenty of people who came ready to play along with the theme. The mood should land somewhere between elegant party and ghost story gathering.
The ball runs from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Tickets are $30 through September 19, then $35 from September 20 through October 2. They need to be bought in advance, so this is one to plan for rather than a last minute door decision.
If you like Halloween season events with a little more lace, polish, and local character, this is a good reason to spend a Saturday night in Alameda.
