This Saturday, August 22, Alameda Brewing is turning part of the room over to mahjong tables from 5 pm to 10 pm.
The first meetup brought out more Alameda players than expected, so they are running it back with open play for every skill level. New to the game? Come learn. Already know your way around the tiles? Pull up a seat and play a few rounds.
Alameda Brewing has the right feel for this kind of night. It is casual, local, and easy to settle into. You can grab a beer, talk between hands, and meet people without the whole thing feeling too formal.
