Join us for another exciting summer of live music and performances in the parks of Alameda! Presented by Rhythmix Cultural Works and the City of Alameda Recreation & Park Department, Rhythmix in the Parks 2024 brings a diverse lineup of talented artists to three different parks throughout the summer.
Kicking off on MAY 18 at Woodstock Park is Rhonda Benin & Friends, a soulful performance featuring unique blends of jazz, gospel, blues and R&B. On JUNE 15, Littlejohn Park will host 3rd Aza Moroccan Music, an immersive cultural experience with traditional music from Morocco. And on JULY 20, join us at Tillman Park for Sekhou Senegal, a high-energy performance featuring West African dance and drumming.
But that’s not all – there’s still more to come! On AUGUST 16 (6:30PM), head over to Jean Sweeney Park for String & Shadow Puppet Theater, a FREE family-friendly event featuring captivating puppetry. And on SEPTEMBER 21, our grand finale will take place at Chochenyo Park with ‘Round the World Festival, a celebration of global cultures through music and dance.
